Ref : Recognition for National NICE Awards
Since 2006. the NICE Public Safety Answering Point's Finest Awards program has recognized
dozens of outstanding emergency communications professionals. Winners are selected by an
independent panel of judges from the 9-1-1 community, who evaluate nominees based on their
accomplishments, skills and service to the community.
This year Weld County Regional Communications Center was Nationally Awarded two awards
from the NICE Public Safety Answering Point Finest Awards Program. This year was the first
time that a single Public Safety Communications Agency has been awarded two of these
distinguished awards.
Weld County Commissioners would like to recognize;
Brett Phipps for receiving the "National Public Safety Wireless Technician" of the year Award
Jessica Powers for receiving the "National Public Safety Trainer of the Year"
