Hello,
We received bids from Spradley Barr of Greeley and Mercedes of Loveland for the replacement of the
prisoner transport van. The low bid was from Spradley Barr and they bid on a 2017 Ford Transit with
three different engine choices, one being the 3.5 V-6 Eco boost engine. They also presented a 2016
Van that was in stock that met specifications with higher upgrades that was the same engine. Therefore,
I am recommending the purchase be awarded to Spradley Barr of Greeley for the 2016 Ford Medium
Roof V6 Eco boost Van (VIN 1 FBZX2CG7GKA83551) that is in stock and ready to go at Motor Pool in
the amount of s $30,967.00.
