Re: Request for Consent to Assign Oil and Gas Lease
Dear Ms. Ford,
On June 28, 2017, PDC Energy, Inc. ("PDC") entered into an agreement for the sale of certain Oil and
Gas Leases in Weld County, Colorado to SRC Energy Inc. ("SRC").
Pursuant to the terms of Oil and Gas Lease dated October 25, 2011 between Weld County, Colorado,
as Lessor, and LoneTree Energy & Associates, LLC ("LoneTree"), as Lessee, recorded in Weld County,
CO at Reception No. 3804378, PDC Energy, Inc., as successor to LoneTree, hereby requests your
consent to assign this lease to SRC Energy Inc.
PDC respectfully requests your consent to assign this lease to SRC. Please properly execute this Letter
in the space provided below, and return one executed original to PDC at your earliest convenience.
In addition, please find enclosed a check for $25.00 made out to the Weld County Board of
Commissioners, which covers the assignment of lease fee set forth in Paragraph #10 of the above
described Oil and Gas Lease. Please acknowledge receipt of this check by signing and returning the
enclosed Acknowledgment of Payment form.
