Peer group control has worked extremely well in past Sanctuary events including the earth day and run -walk events. 10. Public Address systems will be used on Sanctuary property - however, their level and location will not be an issue with the Sanctuary's location in open farmland and having 720 acres belonging to the Sanctuary. A search of all calls for service at that address, since January 1, 2013, resulted in finding no law enforcement calls related to their events. The Sanctuary's plan for using staff and volunteers as peer group control appears to be sufficient for controlling issues at the event. The Sheriff's Office response to any emergency calls would be consistent with our response to other calls for service in the county, and can be covered by the on -duty deputies; we do not see a need to assign extra staff specifically for their events. That would be an increase of 940 spaces to what they are currently proposing. The other thing they could do is have a lower cap like 6,000 people for the entire event or around 2,000 people per day.
