Dear Commissioner:
The County Council has been asked to involve itself
in the matter of gravel removed from the property of
Frank Baty of Kersey. Under the charter provisions ,
the Council cannot determine whether or not Mr. Baty
should be compensated for his gravel. The determina-
tion that the County Council must make is whether or
not Mr. Baty has been given proper consideration for
his request by the officials concerned. In order to
make this determination, we have set a hearing for
July 12 in the County Council office at 9: 00. May
we ask you to be present for any possible input you
might have in behalf of the County or Mr. Baty.
In the event you cannot be here at that time , please
let us know as early as possible. If you have any
questions , please call my home 353-3183.
