land upon the recommendation of the Weld County Planning Director for

(d), 1963, as amended,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the hereinabove
described tract of land owned by Gary D. Connely, Weld County, Colorado,
be exempt from the terms "subdivision" and "subdivided land" as provided
for in the new Weld County Subdivision Regulations at Section 2-1, A. , (3)
adopted August 30, 1972.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and
seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 29thday of January, A.D.,
1975.

Dear Sirs:
The enclosed pl .r-a15p'Fication')and other material are in reference to a
request, by,6&ry D. Connely,,>for a recorded exemption. The parcel in
question contains 99.3 acres more or less, and they desire to split ap-
proximately 7.9 acres- 1 th improvements from the property.
Based upon the information submitted and Weld County Regulations, the staff
recommends approval for the following reasons:
1 . The proposed land split conforms to the Weld County Comprehensive Plan
in that it promotes the use of agricultural land.
2. The proposed division complies with the intent of recorded exemption,
Section 9-2, of the Weld County Subdivision Regulations which is defined
as "a means whereby non-productive agricultural lands may be developed
for higher or more productive uses, in-so-far as such uses are compatible
with surrounding agricultural uses in areas where such land divisions are
proposed".
