RE: ESTABLISHMENT OF A WELD COUNTY DEPARTMENT OF SOCIAL
SERVICES IMPREST FUND.
WHEREAS, the Department of Social Services of Weld County,
Colorado, desires to prevent the overpayment to public
assistance recipients which occurs generally by late reporting
of income on the part of recipients, and
WHEREAS, in the opinion of the Department of Social
Services of Weld County, Colorado, the establishment of an
Imprest Fund of the sum of Four Thousand Dollars ($4 , 000. 00)
is necessary for the purpose of adjusting overpayments to
recipients, and
WHEREAS, in the opinion of the Department of Social
Services of Weld County , Colorado, two counter signatures
should appear on each check from the following staff members
of the Department of Social Services , to wit: Eugene E. McKenna,
Director; Beryl Sweet, Business Office Supervisor; LaRue E.
Schaeffer, Senior Clerk Typist; Margaret R. Green, Principal
Clerk.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Department of
Social Services of Weld County, Colorado, is directed to
establish an Imprest Fund in the form of a checking account
with a balance of not to exceed Four Thousand Dollars
($4 , 000 . 00) , which fund shall be used solely for the purpose
of cashing overpayments and issuing correct payments to
public assistance recipients , with each check requiring two
counter signatures with the following four staff members
authorized to sign said checks , to wit: Eugene E. McKenna,
Director; Beryl Sweet, Business Office Supervisor; LaRue E.
Schaeffer, Senior Clerk Typist; Margaret R. Green, Principal
Clerk.

The above and foregoing Resolution was , on motion duly
made and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 4th
day of August , A.D. , 1976.
