This letter is notification that the Office of the Weld County Assessor and Weld County Land
Records Management has notified the Carbon Valley Parks and Recreation District of parcels
that are now eligible for inclusion into our district. These parcels are less than 40 acres and are
no longer considered as agricultural land. Per Colorado State Statue, C.R.S. 32-1-307(2); If the
use or zoning or any tract of land of forty acres or more lying within the boundaries of any park
and recreation district organized under the provisions of this part 3 has been or is changed from
agricultural use or zoning to other use or zoning designation, such lands and the personal property
thereon shall no longer be excluded from said district and shall be subject to all obligations, liens,
or changes of such district on and after January 1 of the year following such change in use or
zoning.
Please be advised that this reclassification has been applied to your property as per the
documentation received from the Weld County Assessor and Weld County Land Records
Management. If you have questions or comments related to the inclusion into the District please

This letter is notification that our office has created new parcels within your tax district
boundary. Per state statute 32-1-307, these new parcels are now eligible for inclusion to your
district as they are less than 40 acres and not classified as agriculture land. The attached
spreadsheet provides the parcels now eligible. In order for us to change the tax area, the inclusion
process must be completed and recorded with the Weld County Clerk and Recorder. After
recording information is received we will be able to update the property to incorporate the
recreation district in the tax area.
