AMERICA'S TOP 50 BEST HOSPITALS FOR THIRD CONSECUTIVE YEAR
WHEREAS, North Colorado Medical Center has received the Healthgrades 2017
America's 50 Best Hospitals Award, and
WHEREAS, North Colorado Medical Center is located in Weld County and is one of only
three hospitals in the state of Colorado that holds the distinction as being among the top
1% of more than 4,500 hospitals nationwide for its consistent, year -over -year superior
clinical performance, and
WHEREAS, North Colorado Medical Center also been named one of America's Top 100
Hospitals in Pulmonary Care (2013-2017); Critical Care Excellence Award (2009-2017);
Pulmonary Care Excellence Award (2009-2017) and received eight 5 -star quality ratings
in five different service lines as determined by HealthGrades, based upon its evaluation of
objective measures of clinical quality and performance in a variety of specialty categories,
and

WHEREAS, the Board o County Commiss,oners wouldike to congratulate the health care 177
team at North Colorado Medical Center on what they have accomplished for themselves
and for the patients of Northern Colorado, and for consistently being named one of the top
hospitals in the country.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT PROCLAIMED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that North Colorado Medical Center, be, and hereby is,
congratulated on being named among HealthGrades America's 50 Best Hospitals as well
as recognition for a Distinguished Hospital for Clinical Excellence
