RE: APPROVE CANCELLATION OF TAX LIEN SALE CERTIFICATE (TS CERT 2012-
18763) FOR PARCEL #0807-01-2-14-013
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board has received one (1) Tax Lien Sale Certificate
(TS CERT 2012-18763) for parcel #0807-01-2-14-013, from the Weld County Treasurer, and
WHEREAS, the facts as set forth on the Certificate of Cancellation, marked Exhibit A, a
copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, require the cancellation
of TS CERT 2012-18763, and
WHEREAS, after review, the Board deems it advisable to approve the cancellation of the
Tax Lien Sale Certificate (TS CERT 2012-18763) for the property described above.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that cancellation of the Tax Lien Sale Certificate (TS CERT 2012-18763), on
parcel #0807-01-2-14-013, by the Weld County Treasurer be, and hereby is, approved.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 24th day of April, A.D., 2017.

As the Weld County Treasurer, State of Colorado, I re • uest authorization by resolution to cancel the Tax Lien Sale
Certificate number 2012-18763 , pursuant to CRS `39 Ili 114"
According to the Treasurer's Tax Sale Records this property went to tax sale on OCTOBER 31, 2012 due to
unpaid property taxes and Special Assessment for the tax year of 2011 .
Reason for this request is as follows: An erroneous Tax Assessment was placed on this property
back in 2011 resulting in a Tax Lien. The Weld County Assessor's Office over looked the
dedication conveying ownership of this Sanitary Sewer ROW to the Hunter Hill Homeowners
Association. On 1/4/2017 the ownership was corrected from Vectra Bank Colorado NA to Hunter
Hill Homeowners Association by the Weld County Assessor's Office.
