RE: AUTHORIZATION TO PURCHASE LOTS 36 AND 37, BLOCK K, EVANS
ADDITION, EVANSTON, COLORADO.
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Weld County purchase
Lots 36 and 37, Block 7, Evans Addition, Evanston, Colorado for
the purpose of being able to provide rehabilitation assistance
to existing substandard housing for low income elderly residents
of Evanston, and
WHEREAS, permission from the Colorado Division of Housing is
required for the expenditure of State Division of Housing grant
monies which are provided counties for the above stated purpose,
and,
WHEREAS, permission has been granted by the Colorado Division
of Housing for the expenditure of $2 , 300. 00 for the purchase of
Lots 36 and 37, Block K, Evans Addition, Evanston, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners deems it advisable
and in the best interest of Weld County, Colorado to approve the
expenditure for the purchase of said property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Com-
missioners of Weld County, Colorado, that the expenditure of
$2, 300. 00 of State Division of Housing monies for the purchase of
Lots 36 and 37, Block 7 , Evans Addition, Evanston, Colorado, be and
hereby is, approved.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 17th day of
May, A.D. , 1978.

The Division of Housing of the State of Colorado hereby
give permission for the expeniture of $2, 300.00 for the
purchase of said described property:
Lots 36 and 37 inclusive, Block "K" , of Evans
Addition.
Purchase for the purpose of being able to provide
acquisition and rehabilitation of existing substandard
housing for low-income elderly resident of Evanston.
