Triple Stack Bunk Beds for Jail Bid - #B 1700152
A competitive bidding process was completed for the purchase of triple stack bunk beds for the
Weld County jail facility at 2110 O Street, Greeley CO 80631. Two vendors responded. Based
on the funding of approximately $130,000 for this project, the Sheriff's Office will have the
ability to purchase 164 bunks. Based on the information provided by the vendors, the pricing
would be exactly the same and includes shipping.

The Sheriff's Office took into consideration the time of delivery and material used for the
proposed bunks, and decided to move forward with Bob Barker Company. Bob Barker uses a
thicker steel in the construction and is able to deliver approximately 10 weeks faster than
Minncor.
The Sheriff's Office recommends Bob Barker Company, for a Grand Total of $130,380 for
approval of the triple stack bunk bed bid.
