Dear Mr, Dunbar :
Please consider this letter as Greeley ' s official request
for $15, 000 of the County ' s Conservation Trust Fund monies
pursuant to your letter of August 24, 1978,
We are presently allocating all of our Conservation Trust
Fund ($45, 000) for the acquisition of a park at 47th Avenue
and 4th Street ,
The park is in the Pheasant Run subdivision in the City of
Greeley and consists of 80527 acres, We are presently esti-
mating this acquisition cost of this parcel at $60, 000, so
your share would be 25% of acquisition only,
This project meets all state requirements for use of Conser-
vation Trust Fund monies , and of course, we would agree to
assume the development and maintenance costs of this new
park. I am enclosing a copy of the plot of the area and of
the legal description of the area,
Any consideration you can give to our request would be
greatly appreciated and would exemplify to the citizens of
Greeley and Weld County the cooperation and teamwork which
made this area and this county what it is today .
