RE APPROVAL OF CONSERVATION TRUST FUND EXPENDITURES AND
SUBDIVISION PARK FUND EXPENDITURES .
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado , pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld
County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado , and
WHEREAS , following the submission of applications from
the Town of Keenesburg, Town of Hudson, and residents in the
Wattenberg area, Weld County has extended grants from the
Conservation Trust Fund or Subdivision Park Fund, and
WHEREAS, due to delays beyond the control of the
applicants , the projects have not been completed in fiscal
year 1980, and
WHEREAS , the Director of Finance and Administration has
recommended that ONE-THOUSAND DOLLARS ($1000 . 00) be encumbered
in the Conservation Trust Fund for the Keenesburg project , and
WHEREAS , the Director of Finance and Administration has
recommended that THREE-THOUSAND, FIVE-HUNDRED DOLLARS
($3500 . 00) be encumbered in the Conservation Trust Fund for
the Hudson project, and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance and Administration has
recommended that FOUR-THOUSAND, SEVEN-HUNDRED AND SEVENTY-
FOUR DOLLARS ($4774 . 00) be encumbered in the Subdivision
Park Fund for the Wattenberg project .
NOW, THEREFORE , BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County
Commissioners that said Board does hereby approve the above
encumbrance of funds in the Conservation Trust Fund and
Subdivision Park Fund from budgeted appropriations in 1979
for projects to be completed in 1980 .
The above and foregoing Resolution was , on motion duly

Dear Mayor and Council Members :
In 1979 , the Board of County Commissioners approved your
request in the amount of $3500 . 00 for Conservation Trust
Funds for the development of your park. To date , in 1979 ,
we have not received any request for reimbursement of the
expenditures for the acquisition or development of the park.
In order to encumber these appropriated funds before the
close of 1979 , it is important that we receive some inform-
ation from you as to whether or not you still wish to proceed
with the project and receive the funds in the amount of
$3500 . 00 in early 1980 .
If you wish to continue with the project , please contact
Donald Warden, Director of Finance and Administration, to
discuss the details for reimbursement of expenditures
incurred in conjunction with the project . However , if you
have decided not to proceed with this project and will not
be requiring the funds , please notify the Board of County
Commissioners in writing of your intent so that the funds
can be utilized on other County projects .
We look forward to hearing from you in the near future .
