RE: APPROVE CANCELLATION OF TAX LIEN SALE CERTIFICATE (TS CERT 2010-
10467) FOR PARCEL #0961-16-1-04-021 - NINE -FOOT DEEP DRAINAGE POND FOR
THE BALSAM VILLAGE SUBDIVISION
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board has received one (1) Tax Lien Sale Certificate (TS CERT 2010-
10467) for parcel #0961-16-1-04-021 for a nine -foot deep drainage pond for the Balsam Village
Subdivision, from the Weld County Treasurer, and
WHEREAS, the facts as set forth on the Certificate of Cancellation, marked Exhibit A, a
copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, require the cancellation
of TS CERT 2010-10467, and
WHEREAS, after review, the Board deems it advisable to approve the cancellation of the
Tax Lien Sale Certificate (TS CERT 2010-10467) for the property described above.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that the cancellation of the Tax Lien Sale Certificate (TS CERT 2010-10467),
on parcel #0961-16-1-04-021, for a nine -foot deep drainage pond for the Balsam Village
Subdivision, by the Weld County Treasurer, be, and hereby is, approved.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 26th day of June, A.D., 2017.

As the Weld County Treasurer, State of Colorado, I request authorization b resolution to cancel the Tax
Lien Sale Certificate number 2010-10467 , pursuant to CRS
Per the Treasurer's Tax Sale Records this property went to tax sale on NOVEMBER 1, 2010 due to
unpaid property taxes for the tax year of 2009 .
Reason for this request is as follows: This parcel has been deleted by the Assessor's Office. It has been
determined to be a 9' deep drainage pond for the Balsam Village Subdivision. Snowdance Group LLC
has been dissolved for many years and the City of Greeley has placed special assessments charges on this
parcel for the maintenance of this parcel. The City of Greeley has agreed to cancel the special assessments
and are waiting to obtain ownership of this parcel. Therefore, these taxes have been determined to be non -
collectable.
