RE: APPROVAL OF REQUEST FOR A PILOT PROJECT TO UTILIZE MINI BUS
FOR FOUR CONSECUTIVE THURSDAY EVENINGS.
WHEREAS , the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS , it has been requested that the Board of County
Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado consider the possibility
of expanding the transportation service for the elderly, handi-
capped and low income individuals through the use of a Human
Resources Mini Bus on Thursday Evenings as a pilot project, and
WHEREAS , said pilot project will go into effect July 14 , 1977
for four consecutive Thursday evenings. At the end of such time,
a report will be submitted to the Board of County Commissioners as
to the estimated cost and other related particulars of said pilot
project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commis-
sioners of Weld County, Colorado, that said pilot project to
utilize the Human Resources Mini Bus for four consecutive evenings ,
beginning July 14, 1977 for expanding the transportation service for
the elderly, handicapped and low income individuals, be, and hereby
is approved.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 11th day of
July, A.D. , 1977 .
