RE: RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING ACCEPTANCE OF AMENDMENT NO. 1 TO
THE GRANT AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF GREELEY AND WELD
COUNTY, COLORADO AND THE FEDERAL AVIATION ADMINISTRATION
RELATING TO THE DEVELOPMENT OF WELD COUNTY MUNICIPAL AIRPORT,
GREELEY, COLORADO UNDER PROJECT NO. 7-08-0028-01 , CONTRACT
NO. DOT-FA74RM-0409 .
WHEREAS , the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter , is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS , the Federal Aviation Administration has issued an
Amendment to the Grant Agreement relating to the above-numbered
project to increase the maximum obligation of the United States ,
and
WHEREAS , the Federal Aviation Administration has agreed to
the Amendment to the Grant Agreement, and
WHEREAS, the Grant Agreement involves the project known as
Purchase of the Peterson Farm and would increase the obligation
of the United States under the Grant Agreement from SIXTY FOUR
THOUSAND FOUR HUNDRED AND ONE DOLLARS ($64 ,401. 00) to SIXTY FOUR
THOUSAND NINE HUNDRED AND SIXTY TWO DOLLARS and 09/100 ($64 , 962. 09) .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Com-
missioners of Weld County, Colorado, that the County of Weld,
State of Colorado, shall accept Amendment No. 1 to the Grant
Agreement between the City of Greeley, County of Weld, State of
Colorado, and the Federal Aviation Administration executed on
March 6, 1974 , a copy of said Amendment being attached hereto
and incorporated herein by reference, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Chairman of the Board of
County Commissioners is hereby authorized and directed to execute
said Amendment No. 1 to the Grant Agreement.
The above and foregoing Resolution was , on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 8th day of
June, A.D. , 1977.

RESOLUTION NO. 47 1977 •
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING ACCEPTANCE OF AMENDMENT NO. 1 TO THE GRANT
AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF GREELEY AND WELD COUNTY, COLORADO,
AND THE FEDERAL AVIATION ADMINISTRATION RELATING TO THE DEVELOPMENT
OF WELD COUNTY MUNICIPAL AIRPORT, GREELEY, COLORADO, UNDER PROJECT
NO. 7-08-0028-01, CONTRACT NO. DOT-FA74RM-0409.
WHEREAS, the Federal Aviation Administration has issued an Amendment
to the Grant Agreement relating to the above numbered project to
increase the maximum obligation of the United States.
WHEREAS, the Federal Aviation Administration has agreed to the Amend-
ment to the Grant Agreement, now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and City Council of the City of Greeley,
Colorado:
Section 1. That the City of Greeley, Colorado, shall accept
Amendment No. 1 to the Grant Agreement between the City of Greeley
and County of Weld, Colorado, and the Federal Aviation Administration,
executed on March 6, 1974. .
Section 2. That the Mayor of Greeley, Colorado, is hereby
authorized to execute said Amendment No. 1 to the Grant Agreement on
behalf of the City of Greeley, Colorado, and the City Clerk is
hereby authorized and directed to impress thereon the Official Seal
of the City of Greeley, Colorado, and to attest said execution.
Section 3. That the Amendment No. 1 to the Grant Agreement
referred to hereinabove shall be as follows:

WHEREAS, the Federal Aviation Administration (hereinafter referred to as the "FAA") has deter-
mined it to be in the interest of the United States that the Grant Agreement between the FAA, acting
for and on behalf of the United States, and the City of Greeley and County of Weld, Colorado
(hereinafter referred to as they ponsor"), accepted by saSponsor on the 6th day of
MARCH , 19 , be amended as hereinafter provided.
NOW THEREFORE, WITNESSETH:
That in consideration of the benefits bo accrue to the parties hereto, the FAA on behalf of the
United States, on the one part, and the ponsor, on the other part, do hereby mutually agree that
the maximum amount of the obligation of the United States as set forth itu paragraph 1 of the terms
and conditions of the Grant Agreement between the United States and thSPponsor, accepted by said
Co-Sponsor on the 6th day of MARCH , 19 74 , relating to Weld County Municipal
Airport, Project No. 7-08-0028-01 , is hereby increased from $ 64,401 .00
to $ 64,962.09
