Re: Termination of Agreement for Fleet Management Services
Dear Sirs:
In accordance with Section 2 of the Agreement for Fleet Management Services ("the
Agreement") between the Board of County Commissioners of the County of Weld ("the Board")
and G4S Integrated Fleet Management Services, LLC ("G4S"), this letter is to inform you that
the Board does not intend to renew the Agreement after its current term ends on September 30,
2017. The Agreement was assigned by G4S to Centerra Group, LLC ("Centerra") in December,
2014. That assignment was approved by the Board on December 10, 2014. The Board
understands Centerra may have since been acquired by Constellis.
Beginning October 1, 2017, Weld County will provide its own fleet management services
utilizing County personnel. The Board will extend an offer of employment to all qualified
Centerra staff currently working on the activities required by the Agreement. To that end and
with the approval of Centerra, Weld County Human Resources staff would like to speak to the
company's fleet management personnel about the transition prior to September 30, 2017. Please
let us know as soon as possible if such communication is acceptable.

Motor Pool Contract
The following is from the Board of Weld County Commissioners to all department heads/elected officials and Motor Pool
users:
As a user of the Weld County Motor Pool the Board of Weld County Commissioners wants to inform you that the Board
does not intend to renew the agreement for fleet management with Centerra Group (formerly G4S). The Board has had
staff do an analysis of the pros and cons of the current arrangement, and a cost/benefit analysis. Based upon this review
it has been determined that it would be in the best interest of Weld County to bring the fleet management function in-
house. The change will allow Weld County to utilize some management changes, such as life cycle costing of all
equipment, examine the costs and benefits of equipment lease/purchase options, and other potential cost effective
methods that the current contract arrangement does not lend itself to doing.
The county will be hiring a new position of Director of Fleet Services to oversee the fleet management function in the
county. The director will report directly to the Board. We are planning on transitioning all of the current Centerra
Group employees to county employment. The change will take effect October 1, 2017. The Board is confident the
transition over the next three months will be transparent to the users, and should not adversely impact your fleet
services. Over the next few months we are hopeful that all the users will see the benefits of this change.
