The entire housing development strongly objects to any further gas plant development going on next to us. This will only hurt our property values, but also ruin our country life style. Discovery needs to find a different location that is isolated from population for their gas plant expansion. There is a lot of isolated property around the area for Discovery, so please protect our property values and standard of living. I am sure none you would like to have this gas plant next to your homes and neither do we. Discovery needs to put up a 15-20ft dirt berm all the way around the phase 1 plant. this will help with noise control and add trees to the berm to help it blend in with the natural environment in the area. [I We have reviewed the request and find no conflicts with our interest. ,We have reviewed the request and object for the following reasons: There is already too much truck traffic, noise and dust. They don't follow the guidelines in the RESOLUTION that was setup and signed by the county Commissioners on October 26th 2016. The project is winding down so why do they now need to add more temporary buildings at this point for 18 more months. Temporary buildings tend to be forgotten about and become permanent in most cases, and that hurts the surrounding property owner's values. 9 -et° )41P wa.0 aUa-T o4ti va .9-d a.r,.oett.e4 Jd cA ./tLfatc.c., Address .i( I1 ' 0ti Signature Suyi %L.,/ zit 33 • e •' r. . Two amenities we most love about our area are the wide open vistas and the quiet. While we are not against progress, we know the residents of Buffalo Ridge Estates should have a say when such a large project is considered. We were not notified of Phase I, which we believe is due to Weld County statues that require notification only to property owners that border that project. However, this project has affected the entire residential area of Buffalo Ridge Estates, NOT just the few homes bordering the project. Disturbing affects of Phase I and proposed Phase II include: Increased traffic including dump trucks and semi's using Eagle Street and WCR 10 as access roads. Even though these streets were posted, they were used as access roads. In addition, employee vehicles use our streets all hours of the day, especially noticable at shift changes. Our residents are runners, bicyclers, dog walkers, horseback riders, children, and must now must use extreme caution or even forego their activities because of increased traffic. Noise pollution - this plant seems to run 24 hours and the increased noise of big trucks spoils the quiet of our neighborhood Dust pollution. Because of the clearing of acres of land to the west of our Estates, every wind brings a dust storm, causing us to close windows and doors on anotherwise breezy days with no dust. Visibility. We do not want to see tall stacks with or without flames. We do not want to see acres of this plant everytime we go out our doors. We do not want to see acres of parking lots full of vehicles. Health. As residents of Buffalo Ridge Estates we are asking to be provided an extensive health study regarding proximity to gas plant. Since we are just finding out about Phase II, we have a lot of research ahead of us and residents will be sharing what we each discover. However, Weld County and our commissioners should be responsible in overseeing this research. Nobody wants risk of illness or explosions next door. One document we are looking at now is "Dangerous Neighbors: Pipelines, Compressor Stations, and Environmental Injustice". Odor. Once Phase I goes "live" on July 31 we believe this will become a factor, and certainly for Phase II. Property value, obviously our home values have gone down with Phase I in place. Phase II could be disastrous for those of us who count their homes as long term financial stability. Please listen to the residents and consider our futures here in Buffalo Ridge Estates. 1 g- -.20 "7 ac7- 0588 PL An/5 NO to temporary structures in Phase I NO to Phase II Thank you for your attention to this matter, Nancy and Rick Pew 303-857-8220 home 303-250-7886 Nancy cell 2 9 a E N A 8 £ i §E£ spa a so cFa. aan 11z. enea ee>rvam. 2 ! 5 o P $ 8 B ' 2 a B i M O O co V) DISCOVERY DJ SERVICES, LLC. 15. 3 2 15 a a e;;; yyyyyyyiy 1 l9Y f c )§! 21 CL ( I / } 9 CC / OVERY MIDSTREAM PARTNE 16016-USR-3101C § Hello
