RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENT OF COMMISSIONER JULIE A. COZAD TO CERTAIN
ADVISORY BOARDS
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, Commissioner Julie A. Cozad has been assigned to Coordinate the
Department of Finance and Administration, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Commissioner Cozad be appointed to
represent the Board of County Commissioners on the following boards:
• Criminal Justice Advisory Committee (regular member)
• Extension Advisory Council
• Workforce Development Board
• North Front Range Water Quality (regular member)
• Pre -Trial Services Advisory Board (alternate member)
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to appoint Commissioner Cozad to said boards,
with her term on each board to expire December 31, 2017.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that Commissioner Julie A. Cozad be, and hereby is, appointed to the above
listed boards, with her term on each board to expire December 31, 2017.
