Cozad, Chair Commissioner Steve Moreno, Pro-Tem Commissioner Sean P. Conway - EXCUSED Commissioner Mike Freeman Commissioner Barbara Kirkmeyer EXCUSED Also present: Acting Clerk to the Board, Stephanie Frederick County Attorney, Bruce Barker Planning Services Department, Diana Aungst The following business was transacted: • hereby certify that pursuant to a notice dated March 29, 2017, and duly published April 3, 2017, in the Greeley Tribune, a public hearing was conducted to consider the request of Richard and Betty Roos, Sr., for a Site Specific Development Plan and Use by Special Review Permit, USR17-0009, for a Use permitted as a Use by Right, Accessory Use, or Use by Special Review in the Commercial or Industrial Zone Districts (covered and uncovered storage of RVs, trailers and automobiles along with indoor mini -storage) provided that the property is not a lot in an approved or recorded subdivision plat or part of a map or plan filed prior to adoption of any regulations controlling subdivisions in the A (Agricultural) Zone District. Bruce Barker, County Attorney, made this a matter of record. • Chair Cozad advised that Commissioners Conway and Kirkmeyer are excused and for there to be an affirmative vote, all three (3) Commissioners will need to approve. Diana Aungst, Department of Planning Services, presented a brief summary of the request for continuance to allow all five (5) Commissioners to be present and reported the applicants nor their representative are present. No public testimony was offered concerning this matter. • Commissioner Moreno moved to continue the request for Richard and Betty Roos, Sr., for cc= PLC Oo-/mm), PEC�-IC3), H LC LL) , C -v CSF) 2017-1312 S/31/i1 PL2471 HEARING CERTIFICATION - RICHARD AND BETTY ROOS, SR. (USR17-0009) PAGE 2 a Site Specific, Development Plan and Use by Special Review Permit, USR17-0009, for a Use permitted as a Use by Right, Accessory Use, or Use by Special Review in the Commercial or Industrial Zone Districts (covered and uncovered storage of RVs, trailers and automobiles along with indoor mini -storage) provided that the property is not a lot in an approved or recorded subdivision plat or part of a map or plan filed prior to adoption of any regulations controlling subdivisions in the A (Agricultural) Zone District, to May 31, 2017, at 10:00 a.m. The motion was seconded by Commissioner Freeman, and it carried unanimously. There being no further discussion, the hearing was completed at 10:02 a.m. This Certification was approved on the 22nd day of May, 2017.
