I am writing to let you know that the Town of Keenesburg has applied for a loan
through the USDA to repair and replace aging sewer mains with the town limits.
This project will encompass slip lining, and pipe bursting techniques where
possible, depending upon soil conditions. Where conditions exist that will
preclude us from using these methods, sewer line will be replaced using an open
dig method. We plan to rehabilitate all the towns existing clay pipe segments,
with the addition of manholes where required so as not to restrict the flow.
