Marysville, Washington 98270 Dear Mr. and Mrs. Guertner: I am writing to express my appreciation for your help in dealing with the problem involving Weld County's stockpile of gravel located on your farm. The Board of Weld County Commissioners understands and appreciates your concern over removal of the gravel , and I assure you that we plan to have the stockpiled gravel removed by the end of 1977. We are sorry that this situation has resulted in problems for you regarding the possible sale of your farm, and hope that the misunderstanding with your realtor did not jeapordize the arrangements with your possible buyer. The Board would appreciate being notified if and when a sale of your farm is completed, so that we can make arrangements with the new owner to remove any remaining gravel which the County has already stockpiled. Should the situation change whereby you do not sell your property before the end of the year, I would be interested in discussing with you the possibility of continuing our past arrangements for acquisition of gravel . Again, please accept the Board's and my own personal thanks for your cooperation in settling the misunderstanding. My best wishes for the successful sale of your property. If I can be of help to you in the future regarding the County's gravel operation on your farm, please do not hesitate to contact me. Sincerely, , Victor L. Sir: By Deputy The pile of gravel now existing on our (Frank Guertner) farm belongs to Weld county thru an agreement with Lee Gould our renter, for work they did on the river. It would be helpful if they could have it out by the end of this year as we have the farm listed for sale and it becomes an issue whenever we get a prospect to buy the farm. In case we do happen to sell the farm it will be in the contract that Weld County gets this pile of gravel. We are sorry the Salesman caused you so much trouble, we did not give him permission to go to the commissioners and do this. I am sorry I probably do not have your name spelled right, Sincerely, j c e o d c Frank flu ner Lois J. Guertner 7504 68th Ave. N.E. Marysville, Wash. 9$?70 CCLV inL . 9/c9/V7 Hello
