RE: AUTHORIZE CERTAIN WELD COUNTY OFFICIALS TO HAVE ACCESS TO THE SAFE
LOCATED IN THE OFFICE OF THE CLERK TO THE BOARD
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, certain necessary documents are currently secured in a Lock Box in the vault
of the Weld County Treasurer's Office and it is necessary to relocate said documents to a safe in
the Office of the Clerk to the Board and for the Board to designate an updated list of certain
County officers and employees to have access to said safe, and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that Esther Gesick, Clerk to the Board, Tisa Juanicorena, Cheryl Hoffman and
Karla Ford, Deputy Clerks to the Board, and Bruce Barker, County Attorney, be, and hereby are
designated as the Weld County officials who are to have access to the safe, located in the Office
of the Clerk to the Board.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that the Resolution dated January 7, 2015,
designating certain County officers and employees to have access to said lock box be and hereby
is, superseded.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that the above officers and employees be,
and hereby are, authorized to have access to the safe, located in the Office of the Clerk to the
Board, effective January 11, 2017.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 11th day of January, A.D., 2017.
