Weld County should purchase several FLIR cameras or hire a local company to further investigate oil and gas facilities for
leaks, spills, emissions.
The City of Greeley purchased a FLIR camera, discovered leaks and emissions, and contacted companies to take
immediately remedy .
Reports of 5 to 100 barrels or unknown amounts of condensate, fracking fluid or waste, or oil is not acceptable for
agricultural land or any property.
When Commissioners or the county discover serious infractions, appropriate county personnel should register
complaints with the COGCC and the operator.
If Commissioners want to protect agricultural land, they should not wait for an agricultural mineral owner or any other
rural owner to report infractions but report infractions themselves.
