RE: CANCELLATION OF TAX LIEN SALE CERTIFICATE (TS CERT 2011-16455) FOR
PARCEL #0959-01-1-26-025, ALL BUT ONE DOLLAR
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board has received one (1) Tax Lien Sale Certificate (TS CERT 2011-
16455) for parcel #0959-01-1-26-025, from the Weld County Treasurer, and
WHEREAS, the facts as set forth on the Certificate of Cancellation, marked Exhibit A, a
copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, and
WHEREAS, after review, the Board deems it advisable to cancel all but One Dollar ($1.00)
of the Tax Lien Certificate, for the purposes of processing and issuing a Treasurer's Deed.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that Tax Lien Sale Certificate (TS CERT 2011-16455), on parcel #0959-01-1-
26-025, be, and hereby is, cancelled with the exception of One Dollar ($1.00), which shall remain
so that the Tax Lien may remain active, and for the purposes of processing and issuing a
Treasurer's Deed.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 24th day of April, A.D., 2017.

MEMO TO: WELD COUNTY BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS,
As the Weld County Treasurer, State of Colorado, I re•uest authorization by resolution to adjust the Tax Lien Sale
Certificate number 2011-16455 1 pursuant to CRS
According to the Treasurer's Tax Sale Records this property went to tax sale on OCTOBER 31 2011 due to
unpaid property taxes for the tax year of 2010 .
Two adjacent property owners have agreed to apply for a Treasurer's Deed to obtain ownership and maintain the
parcel. The City of Greeley has agreed to cancel all special assessments placed on the property in the amount of
$1166.67. If approved, I, as Treasurer, would reduce the tax lien to $1.00 in taxes, writing off all remaining taxes,
interest and fees. The tax lien certificate cannot be cancelled entirely. The certificate must remain active in order to
process and issue a Treasurer's Deed.
It is in the best interest of all to adjust the tax lien certificate of purchase by resolution by the Board of County
Commissioners in order for the property owners to obtain ownership by a Treasurer's Deed.
