RE: ESTABLISHING THE MEMBERSHIP OF THE HUMAN SERVICES COMMITTEE
AND RESCINDING PRIOR RESOLUTIONS TO THAT EFFECT.
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, are vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, by Resolution dated the 8th day of March, 1976,
the Human Services Committee was permanently established and
eight (8) members appointed thereto, and
WHEREAS, by Resolution dated the 10th day of May, 1976,
the Board of County Commissioners enlarged said committee to
add ex officio, non-voting advisory members, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that certain changes be made
in the membership of said committee.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Com-
missioners of Weld County, Colorado, that the Resolution pertain-
ing to the Human Services Committee of Weld County, dated May 10 ,
1976, be and hereby is rescinded and that that portion of the
Resolution dated March 8, 1976 and pertaining to the membership
of the Human Services Committee be ineffective insofar as it
conflicts with this Resolution, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the members of the Human Services
Committee shall be as follows :
1. Commissioner Coordinator of Health Services shall serve
as Chairman.
2. The Vice-chairman shall be elected from among the members.
3. Director of Social Services.
4. Director of Health Department.
5. Director of Human Resources.
6. Director of Extension Service.
7. County Finance Officer.
8. Director of Planning Services.
9. One representative from Weld County United Way.
10. One representative from Employment Service.
11. One representative from Colorado Rural Legal Services.

12. One representative from Vocational Rehabilitation.
13. One representative from Weld County Mental Health.
14. One representative from Social Security Administration.
15. One representative from Weld County District Attorney' s
Office.
16. One representative from Community Center Board.
17. The Assistant Commissioner Coordinator of Health Services.
18. One representative from the Bureau of Cooperative
Education Services. (BOCES)
19 . One representative from School District Six.
20. One representative from WIRS.
21. One representative from the City of Greeley.
22 . One representative from the North County Area (District 1) .
23. One representative from the Southwest County Area
(District 2) .
24. One representative from the Southeast County Area
(District 3) .
25. Three representatives from the public at large to be
appointed by the Board of County Commissioners.
26. One representative from the Colorado State Department
of Social Services to be an advisory member (non-voting) .
27. One representative from the Colorado Human Services
Cabinet Council to be an advisory member (non-voting) .
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 28th day of
March, A.D. , 1977.
The above and foregoing Resolution was read into the record
and signed on the 28th day of March, A.D. , 1977.
