HomeMy WebLinkAbout20171164.tiffRESOLUTION RE: APPROVE CANCELLATION OF POSSESSORY INTEREST LEASE (ACCOUNT R8941787) WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and WHEREAS, the Board has received one (1) Possessory Interest Lease (Account R8941787), from the Weld County Treasurer, and WHEREAS, the facts as set forth on the Possessory Interest Lease, marked Exhibit A, a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, require the cancellation of the Possessory Interest Lease (Account R8941787), and WHEREAS, after review, the Board deems it advisable to approve the cancellation of the Possessory Interest Lease (Account R8941787) for the property described above. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, that the cancellation of the Possessory Interest Lease (Account R8941787), by the Weld County Treasurer, be, and hereby is, approved. Per a physical inspection this building has been demolished and no longer exists. Therefore, these taxes are non -collectable. The assessor's office has removed the Possessory Interest Lease assessment from the tax roll for 2016.
