RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENTS, REAPPOINTMENT AND REASSIGNMENT TO
REGIONAL COMMUNICATIONS ADVISORY BOARD
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the terms for certain positions on the Regional Communications Advisory
Board will soon expire, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that James Dilka, be reappointed to said Board to
Fire Zone North, with a term to expire December 31, 2019, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Barry Schaefer, be reassigned to said Board
to Fire Zone North, with a term to expire December 31, 2019, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Ron Pristera be appointed to said Board as
Fire Chief -At -Large, to replace Barry Schaefer, with a term to expire December 31, 2017, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Mike Savage be appointed, as the Greeley
Police Chief representative to replace Mark Jones, which is a standing position.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that James Dilka be reappointed, Ron Pristera and Mike Savage be appointed
and Barry Schaefer be reassigned to the Regional Communications Advisory Board, all with terms
to expire as stated above.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 8th day of February, A.D., 2017.
