RESOLUTION
RE: GRANTING OF REQUEST FOR AN INCREASE IN SOCIAL SERVICES
BUDGET FROM 1977 FOR RENTAL OF THE YOUTH SHELTER HOME.
WHEREAS, the Department of Social Services of Weld County,
Colorado, rents a Youth Shelter Home in the old Wyatt School
located East of Greeley, Colorado, and,
WHEREAS, the 1977 budget for said rental was set at
$7, 200 . 00 and it has now come to the attention of the Board of
County Commissioners that the total cost for the year 1977 will
be in the total sum of TWELVE THOUSAND DOLLARS ($12,000. 00) for
the rental of said facility, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, feels that it is in the best interest of Weld County
to approve an increase in the budget for said Shelter Home from
the sum of $7, 200 . 00 to $12, 000. 00, the increased sum, for the
calendar year 1977.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County
Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, that the Social Service
budget for the rental of the Shelter Home located in the old
Wyatt School East of Greeley, Colorado, be, and hereby is increased
from the sum of $7, 200. 00 to the sum of $12 , 000. 00 for the calendar
year 1977.
The above and foregoing Resolution was , on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 12th day of
January, A.D. , 1977.
The above and foregoing Resolution was read into the record
and signed on the 31st day of JANUARY , A.D. , 1977.
