A public hearing was conducted on March 8, 2017, at 10:00 a.m., with the following present:
Commissioner Julie A. Cozad, Chair
Commissioner Steve Moreno, Pro -Tern
Commissioner Sean P. Conway
Commissioner Mike Freeman
Commissioner Barbara Kirkmeyer
Also present:
Acting Clerk to the Board, Tisa Juanicorena
Assistant County Attorney, Bob Choate
Planning Services Department representative, Chris Gathman
The following business was transacted:
el I hereby certify that pursuant to a notice dated February 2, 2017, and duly published
February 8, 2017, in the Greeley Tribune, a public hearing was conducted to consider the request
of 4 S's Holdings, LLC, do Trent Timm, for a Change of Zone, COZ16-0005, from the
A (Agricultural) Zone District to the C-3 (Business Commercial) Zone District. Bob Choate,
Assistant County Attorney, made this a matter of record.
El Chris Gathman, Department of Planning Services, presented a brief summary of the
continuance due to the applicant needing more time to complete the official boundary survey for
their Change of Zone, as required per Section 23-2-50 of the Weld County Code. In response to
Chair Cozad, Mr. Gathman stated the applicant is not present.
El No public testimony was offered concerning this matter.
El Commissioner Kirkmeyer stated she may have a scheduling conflict with the continuance
date. In response to Commissioner Kirkmeyer, Mr. Gathman clarified this case is not the result of
a violation and it is not controversial; however, there may be a question regarding road
right-of-way or setback, but it is not controversial to surrounding property owners.
Commissioner Conway moved to continue the request of 4 S's Holdings, LLC, c/o Trent
Timm, for a Change of Zone, COZ16-0005, from the A (Agricultural) Zone District to the C-3
(Business Commercial) Zone District, to March 15, 2017, at 10:00 a.m. The motion was seconded
by Commissioner Freeman, and it carried unanimously. There being no further discussion, the
hearing was completed at 10:03 a.m.
This Certification was approved on the 13th day of March, 2017.
