The respective Boards of County Commissioners have agreed to this transfer and wish to effect this transfer in order to mitigate the over -expenditures being experienced by Jefferson County and to utilize the funding available in the most effective way. It is understood and agreed by both parties that included within the $500,000, is the County Maintenance of Effort. Jefferson County has agreed to assume the responsibility of meeting the MOE requirements that accompanies the increase in allocation. This one-time transfer is being made as a collaborative approach of both counties to best utilize CCCAP funds for their intended use. It is both counties' understanding that the allocation for FY2017-18 will be based on initial allocation levels.
