RE: AUTHORIZE EXTENSION OF OIL AND GAS LEASE COVERING CERTAIN
PROPERTY OWNED BY WELD COUNTY, COLORADO - S11, T4N, R67W
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, Weld County is the owner of vast mineral lands located in Weld County,
Colorado, and
WHEREAS, Great Western Operating Company, LLC submitted a request to extend the
lease of 0.12 net mineral acres, more or less, described to -wit:
Lots 10, 30, 31, and 32, of Block 62, in Section 11,
Township 4 North, Range 67 West of the 6th P.M.,
Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, Weld County desires to approve the request submitted by Great Western
Operating Company, LLC to extend the lease on the above -described mineral acreage for
$400.00 per net mineral acre, for a total sum of $48.00, which is to run for a period of six (6)
months, commencing at twelve o'clock noon on May 22, 2018, and ending at twelve o'clock noon
on November 22, 2018.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that the request submitted by Great Western Operating Company, LLC, to
extend the lease on the above -described mineral acreage for $400.00 per net mineral acre, for a
total sum of $48.00, which is to run for a period of six (6) months, commencing at twelve o'clock
noon on May 22, 2018, and ending at twelve o'clock noon on November 22, 2018, be, and hereby
is, granted and approved.
