SUBJECT: 9 -Ton Pneumatic Tire Roller Compactor, Bid B1800026
The Public Works Department recommends awarding the bid to the lowest bidder that meets specs, Power
Equipment Company, for one 2018 Bomag BW 27RH Pneumatic Tired Roller Compactor at a cost of
$134,884.00. The lowest bid from Faris Machinery did not meet specs for engine horse power or cold weather
starting aid.
Maintenance and Service manuals are available online at no cost.
The total cost for one, 9 -ton Pneumatic Tired Roller Compactor from Power Equipment Company is
$134,884.00.
There is $140,000 budgeted for this purchase.
