WHEREAS, pursuant to law, the Board of County
Commissioners, Weld County, Colorado, is vested with the
responsibility of administering the affairs of Weld County,
Colorado, and
WHEREAS, it has been determined by the board that
there is a need to lease the grazing and farm land acquired
in the purchase from the Estate of Robert S . Davis , and
WHEREAS, the Board believes it to be in the best
interests of the County to seek bids for the Board' s approval
relative to said lease and /or leases of the aforementioned
properties.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of
County Commissioners, Weld County, Colorado, that Mr. Barton
Buss, County Finance Officer for Weld County, advertise for
bids covering the aforementioned grazing and farming properties
purchased from the Estate of Robert S. Davis , all in accordance
with bid specifications attached hereto and made a part hereof
by reference.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Board be, and it
hereby is authorized to execute the lease and /or leases with
the successful bidder and /or bidders for the leasing of the
aforementioned properties and to make the same effective
forthwith.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion
duly made and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the
28th day of January, A. D. , 1976.
