RE: APPROVE RELEASE OF LIEN FOR SPECIAL ASSESSMENT OF DAILY PENALTIES
FOR A ZONING VIOLATION - 1138 COUNTY ROAD 33.5, BRIGHTON, COLORADO
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, by Resolution #2015-1635, dated June 8, 2015, and Resolution #2016-0218,
dated January 18, 2016, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado,
approved the Certification of a Special Assessment against Josephina Clifton's property in the
amount of $310.00 and $2240.00, respectively, which were recorded with Weld County Clerk and
Recorder on June 29, 2015, at Reception No. 4119737, and February 12, 2016, at Reception
No.4180526, constituting a lien against said property described as Parcel No. #147126402005
located in Jo Ann Subdivision, Block 1, Lot 2, Section 26, Township 1 North, Range 66, West of
the 6th P.M., Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the property was sold and the new owners of said property have paid the
entire amount of said lien, and
WHEREAS, after review, the Board deems it advisable to release the above mentioned
lien.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that the above referenced Special Assessment Enforcement Lien against
property known as 1138 County Road 33.5 Brighton, Colorado, be and hereby is, declared to be
satisfied in full and hereby released from said property.
