Michelle,
I know this isn't your case but I just wanted to get you my initial reaction.
125' flare and 120' tower? It may be a small footprint, but this will be highly visible and operating
24/7 there will be a noise and light issue.
There just seems like the County has other better suited locations for this use.
There is a lot of dust from existing traffic on 51 now. When we were out there earlier this week we
noted that there is some type of dust suppressant being used (not sure what it is) from CR18 north
to just past the houses. When this industrial use is permitted there will be more traffic and more
dust impacting existing residences.
I am working up official comments for the referral, but this seems ill advised upon initial review.
Let's see where we come out after I go over everything.
Also, we were contacted by phone but when we tried to call back the call went into a very strange
system that did not connect to the caller or let us leave a message.
I wonder if others had the same experience.
Paull

Dear Mr. Gathman:
r
1
Our property is at the southwest corner of Roads 51 and 20 and adjacent to the proposed gas plant
on CR 51 between Roads 18 and 20.
We have several concerns that need to be addressed regarding this plant. Below is the current list.
1. Valuation of our property upon completion of this plant.
2. Ground contamination of chemicals used, gas, oil and all other hazardous materials to our
property.
. Contamination of ground water for our vegetation and our personal well water.
4, What procedures will be taken for chemical spills and fires on plant property.
5. Noise from machinery and vehicles up to 24 hours/I days a week.
6. Air cont nation from operation of plant,
7. Ground vibration up to 24 hours/7 days a week.
8, Monitoring and control of water in retention pond to prevent flooding on our property.
9. CR 51 condition because of increased traffic on the road during construction and also
operation of the plant.
10; Loss of wildlife during operation of the plant
l 1. Adequate landscaping of plant and weed control outside of the fenced area.
12. Outside lights proposed ro - osed during construction and 24 hours/7 days a week during operation of

the plant,
Please take these concerns into consideration before granting a permit for this plant, We are asking
for a written response from Planning Services concerning each of these concerns before the permit is
granted.
We would like to be informed several days in advance of any county meetings before this permit is
granted. Also, to be informed several days in advance of the County Commissioners' meeting
regarding this permit.

Project for oil and gas support and service facility (cryogenic gas processing plant in AG zone)
I object to the planning and building of this Oil and Gas facility processing plant in an AG Zoned area.
This plant will run 24 hours a day in a Ag Zoned area, it will have facility personnel on site, 24 hours a
day, Area lighting, (even though down casting)} will illuminate the area 24 hours a clay. This is not
acceptable in an area designed for Ag related opportunities. With this facility coming into the area,
traffic will increase, noise and sound will increase. (suggested at less than 6 trucks per day) Even though
it has been suggested they will maintain a decibel of lower than 70, the standard of AG related activities
has suggested it should be intermittent, Not continual. Also, it has been suggested that they will have a
flare stack 70 ft in the air, Visibility to the surrounding area and all will effected by this.
My property value will decrease with the plant in proximity of my land and the land surrounding my
neighbors as well, It has already been a huge hardship to continue to be compressed by the surrounding
businesses that want to expand in an Ag related area.
I strongly object to the building of this facility in the close proximately of so many houses in the Ag
Zoned area.
Thank you ----
