Home My WebLink About20180126.tiffRESOLUTION RE: APPROVE EMERGENCY BID #61800039, BALLOT BOXES AND WAIVER OF TEN- DAY WAITING PERIOD FOR CONSIDERATION AND INVESTIGATION - CLERK AND RECORDER WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and WHEREAS, the Department of Purchasing presented Emergency Bid Request #B1800039, Ballot Boxes, for the Clerk and Recorder's Office, which only received one (1) bid and approaching election deadlines, and WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners deems it advisable to waive the ten-day waiting period for said bid and approve the matter on an emergency basis, due to only receiving one (1) bid and approaching election deadlines. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, that the ten-day waiting period for Emergency Bid Request #B1800039, Ballot Boxes, for the Clerk and Recorder Office's, be, and hereby is, waived. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that the low bid from Fort Knox Mailbox, in the amount of $26,950.05, be, and hereby is, accepted and approved on an emergency basis.
