PROCLAMATION
ERIC WILKINSON DAY
APRIL 9, 2018
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners wishes to formally recognize the
service of Eric Wilkinson, Northern Colorado Water Conservatory District General
Manager, for his outstanding dedication to Weld County and its' residents for more
than three decades; and
WHEREAS, Eric Wilkinson has made many contributions and has provided a sound
vision for current and future water supplies and management in Weld County and
throughout northeastern Colorado; and
WHEREAS, he has been instrumental ir; water conservation and the preservation,
protection and planning for Weld County's agricultural and municipal water
supplies, including many of the fastest growing communities in the United States,
which happen to be in Weld County; and
WHEREAS, his diligent work on the Northern Integrated Supply and Windy Gap
Firming projects is a great example of his legacy and will provide water supplies
that will benefit Weld County and its residents, both rural and urban, for years to
come.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT PROCLAIMED by the Board of County
Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, that the Board appreciates the passion,
loyalty, vision, honesty and dedication Eric Wilkinson has demonstrated to Weld
County, and do hereby declare that Monday, April 9, 2018, be known as Eric
Wilkinson Day.
