PUBLIC COMMENT: Thank you for attending the Weld County Council meeting. Your comments at this
time are welcomed. (While the Council encourages individuals or groups of individuals to address the
Weld County Council, public comment is limited to three minutes per person. Please be aware that
the Council may not be able to address your topic today. If the Council is unable to do so, the matter may
be referred to staff, a work session, or the next regular -scheduled meeting.)
NEW BUSINESS:
• Coordinator Reports/Councilman Reports : Councilman Stille has items of discussion. A) A
presentation by Rich Werner, President & CEO, "Upstate Colorado Economic Development" was
well attended. B) Update on "Bright Futures" and employment in Weld County, e.g. by 2020
there will be over 336,000 employed and by 2050 there will be over 734,000 employed.
