HomeMy WebLinkAbout20183164.tiffRESOLUTION TO ADOPT BUDGET A RESOLUTION SUMMARIZING EXPENDITURES AND REVENUES FOR THE GENERAL FUND AND ADOPTING A BUDGET FOR THE PIONEER COMMUNITY LAW ENFORCEMENT AUTHORITY DISTRICT, LOCATED IN WELD COUNTY, COLORADO, FOR THE CALENDAR YEAR BEGINNING ON THE FIRST DAY OF JANUARY, 2019, AND ENDING ON THE LAST DAY OF DECEMBER, 2019 WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners, of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners, of Weld County, Colorado, ex -officio Pioneer Community Law Enforcement Authority Board, has appointed the Weld County Director of Finance and Administration to prepare and submit a proposed budget to said governing body at the proper time, and WHEREAS, said Director of Finance and Administration has submitted a proposed budget to this governing body for its consideration, and WHEREAS, upon due and proper notice, published or posted in accordance with the law, said proposed budget was open for inspection by the public at a designated place, a public hearing was held on December 12, 2018, and interested taxpayers were given the opportunity to file or register any objections to said proposed budget. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners, ex - officio Pioneer Community Law Enforcement Authority Board, as follows. Section1. That estimated expenditures for each fund are as follows: General Fund $4,159 cc.•F=cOw) 2018-3164 SD0131 Section 2. That estimated revenues for each fund are as follows: General Fund: From unappropriated surpluses From sources other than general property tax From the general property tax levy TOTAL GENERAL FUND $ 0 600 3,559 $ 4,159 Section 3. That the budget, as submitted, amended, and hereinabove summarized by fund, hereby is approved and adopted as the budget of the Pioneer Community Law Enforcement Authority District for the year above stated. Section 4. That the budget hereby approved and adopted shall be signed by the Chair, Board of County Commissioners, ex -officio Pioneer Community Law Enforcement Authority Board, and made a part of the public records of the District. The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 12th day of December, A.D., 2018. The 7.0 mill levy was approved on the November 3, 1998, ballot by a majority of the voters. The voters also approved entirely "De-Brucing" the district.
