SUBJECT: Wheel Loader, Bid B1800023
The Public Works Department recommends awarding the bid to the lowest bidder, Power Equipment
Company, for one Wheel Loader at a cost of $154,954.00.
We would like Option #1 (Additional 5 year/3000 Hour Full Machine Ext Warranty) at a cost of $4,400.00 and
Option #2 (Online Maintenance and Service Manuals) at a cost of $50 per month or $600 for one year. After
the one year period, Weld County Fleet Services will pay the online subscription fees.
The total cost for one Wheel Loader with Options 1 and 2 (for one year) is $159,954.00.
There is $225,000 budgeted for this purchase.
