RE: Allocated Conservation Trust
Fund Monies
Enclosed are two bids received for fencing to enclose
the playground area of the local town park. We
realize you requested three bids, however two were
all that responded to our request and submitted bids.
Due to the time element and the project cost, we
believe the two to be comparative of any third bid.
This is a difference of only $3. 37 of the two who did
submit bids. The Town Board recommends the bid of
Derr Brothers Fencing, which is a local company.
The itemized statement indicates costs of materials to
complete a Bocce Court in the park. Also, to place
sand around the playground equipment, which would be
a safety factor for the small children. This work
would be done by town employees and volunteer help.
For this reason we are submitting materials cost
only.
We sincerely hope the above information and enclosed
documents meet with your approval for receiving the
allocated funds in the amount of $2,000.00 for the
Town of Frederick.

to finish the Bocce Court located in the
park.
This statement reflects only the material
cost, as the labor will be in-kind service
from the town employees doing the labor.
Bocce Court $460.00
covers cost of 2 inches of
road sand and 2 inches of
road packing.
3 Pole Lights $450.00
two lights to be placed on
the Bocce court and one to
be placed in the playground
area
2 inches of Road Sand $450.00
to be placed in the
playground area to prevent
any serious injuries from
hard surface ground as now
exists, this would cover an
area of approximately
750 square feet
