Bid B1800114
The Public Works Department recommends awarding the bid to the lowest bidder that meets specs, Kois
Brothers Equipment Company, Inc. for five 2019 West Mark-Kois spray tank trailers. The bid from Utility Trailer
Sales of Colorado, LLC for a 2020 Polar SCX did not meet specifications as they did not bid the spray system.
The base price of each tanker is $129,593.00.
Option 1 (20' Stainless hose tubes mounted on the side of tank with doors) costs $1650.00; Option 5 (Manuals
on USB Drive/Hard Copy Manual) is available at no additional cost.
The cost for five 2019 West Mark-Kois Spray Tank Trailers from Kois Brothers Equipment company, Inc. with
Options 1 and 5 is $656,215.00.
There is $690,000.00 budgeted for this purchase.
