REMARKS: Public Assistance and.Food Stamp caseloads continued at the same levels as the
previous month with few changes in caseload. Compared with the same month,prior year, the
Aid to Dependent Children caseload shows a slight decrease of 47 families while the Food
Stamp caseload has increased by 345 families.
Expenditures for October (excluding Old Age Pension and Food Stamps) were $550,026. This
amount was $55,323 lower than the preceding month of September but $3,674 higher than the
same month in 1978. Department expenditures remain within budget with 76.91 expended for
10 months of the calendar year.
