N. , running Sections 1 and 2 in a S. T. Direction, beg leave to report that after a - - careful survey of the line of road as shown by the plat, that in our judgment the road proposed is needed by the people living adjacent to and also in the East part of the Crow Creek district and is considerably near- er to market and town than any other road now existing, and will be a great convenience to the people living in that neighborhood. We also found that the owners of the property through which this line of road runs are willing to donate the right of way for said road with the exception of Darius Smith, provided the road running on the 4 section line north will be, abandoned. And we hereby recommend that this line of road be opened up provided the petitioners and the parties interested will pay all the cost of building and opening up said road to the satisfaction of the supervi- sor over and above what the cost would be of opening up the line of road on the 4 Section line North. The estimate is made that the benefits to all parties concerned with the exception of Darius Smith will equal the damages sustained by location of the road through their lands. To the Honorable Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado: Gentlemen: We, the undersigned, Citizens and Freeholders of your County, respectfully represent that the necessities of the public require a County wagon road to be laid out as follows, to-wit: Commencing at the West quarter corner to Section 6, Township 5 North of Range 64 Welt, thence S. 760 45 ' W. 1811 feet, 'thence S . 830 25' W. 889 feet, to North and South half section line in Section 1, Township 5 N. R. 65 W. 711 feet South of the center of Section 1, thence same course 2300 feet, thence S.590 W. 400 feet to section line between sec- tions 1 and 2 , 200 feet North of quarter quarter corner, thence on the same course 1425 feet to North and South quarter quarter line , thence same course 400 feet , thence West 3600 feet to Section line between Sec- tions 2 and 3, 580 feet North of Southwest corner section 2, thence to connect with the County road on South half of Sectish 3, by the most practicable route , This road to be substituted for the proposed road running East and West through center of Sections 1 and 2. Sadd road to be abandoned upon the adoption of the road herein petitioned for, w. Said road to be not less titan sixty (60) feet in width. We therefore petition your honorable body to cause to be laid out and opened a County road as above described, and we, the owners of the land through which said road is sought to be laid out, in consideration of the sum of one dollar to us each and severally in hand paid by the said County of Weld, the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, and of the laying out and opening of said road, hereby agree to give the right of way through our lands as shown by the plat accompanying this petition, and relinquish all claims for damage by reason thereof.
