RE: APPROVE SHERIFF'S OFFICE CIVIL SERVICE FEES
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS,the Sheriff's Office is authorized to collect a fee for the service of civil process
and other related documents pursuant to C.R.S. §30-1-104, and
WHEREAS, and the Board has been presented with a fee schedule which is designed to
comply with State law, and which is further designed to reimburse the Sheriff's Office for the actual
costs incurred in providing these services, and
WHEREAS, after review, the Board deems it advisable to approve the Civil Service Fee
Schedule, a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, effective
January 1, 2019.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that the Civil Service Fee Schedule be, and hereby is, approved, effective
January 1, 2019.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 12th day of December, A.D., 2018.
