WHEREAS, heretofore and on July 23, 1975, by Resolution, the
Board of County Commissioners, Weld County, Colorado, did adopt the
National Electrical Code of 1975 as the Electrical Code to be enforced in
Weld County, Colorado, and that all construction of buildings and structures
within Weld County shall conform to the provisions of said National Electrical
Code of 1975, and
WHEREAS, it has come to the attention of the Board that electrical
inspections are lagging far behind building schedules and that final building
inspections in Weld County are held up unnecessarily due to failure of final
electrical inspections, and
WHEREAS, it has been determined by the Board that it would be in
the best interests of the County to take over all electrical inspections as it
relates to construction of buildings and structures within Weld County,
Colorado.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County
Commissioners, Weld County, Colorado, and it hereby orders and directs
that on and after October 1, 1975, the National Electrical Code of 1975 as
adopted by Weld County, Colorado, shall be enforced in the construction of
buildings and structures within Weld County.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that Mr. Barton Buss, Director of
Management and Budget, advertise for a suitable person knowledgeable in
the field of electrical work to be Electric Inspector in Weld County and to
serve under the direction of the Weld County Building Inspector; and that
such person or persons doing electric inspections in Weld County shall serve
at the pleasure of the Board.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and
seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 10th day of September, A. D. ,
1975, nunc pro tunc as of August 20th , 1975.

Electric Inspections in Weld County
Gentlemen:
Please be advised that the Board of County Commissioners, Weld
County, Colorado, by separate Resolutions did adopt the 1975, National
Electrical Code and the enforcement of same in Weld County, wQppies of
said Resolutions attached hereto for ready reference and which I believe
are self-explanatory.
The Electrical Inspector will serve under the direction of the Weld
County Building Inspector temporarily housed in the Weld County Health
Building, 1516 Hospital Road, Greeley, Colorado 80631. Any correspon-
dence may be directed to the above address.
