RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENTS TO JUVENILE COMMUNITY REVIEW BOARD
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the terms for certain positions on the Juvenile Community Review Board will
soon expire, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Margie Gomez be appointed to said Board as
Juvenile Services Planning Committee Alternate Representative, and that Vanessa Bullock be
appointed to said Board as a Juvenile Services Planning Committee Regular Representative,
both with terms to expire November 1, 2021, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Anthea Carrasco be appointed to said Board
as a Law Enforcement Alternate Representative, and that Havilah Lilly be appointed to said Board
as a Law Enforcement Regular Representative, both with terms to expire November 1, 2021, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Kyle Ragland be appointed to said Board as
a Human Services Alternate Representative, and that Jason Nava be appointed to said Board as
a Human Services Regular Representative, both terms to expire November 1, 2021.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that Margie Gomez, Vanessa Bullock, Anthea Carrasco, Havilah Lilly, Kyle
Ragland and Jason Nava be, and hereby are, appointed to the Juvenile Community Review
Board, all with terms to expire November 1, 2021.
