In re: Consent to assign Oil and Gas Leases
Dear Ms. Petzold:
Carrizo (Niobrara) LLC (Carrizo) owns an interest in two (2) Oil and Gas Leases more
specifically described on the attached Exhibit "A" (the Leases). Carrizo has entered into an
Agreement whereby it will assign all of its leasehold interest in the subject Leases to Verdad
Resources Acquisition, LLC, a subsidiary of Verdad Resources Holdings, LLC (Verdad). The
closing date happened on January 19, 2018.
Pursuant to the provisions contained within the Leases, Carrizo hereby respectfully requests that
the Board of County Commissioners consent to the forthcoming assignment of the Leases to
Verdad. In anticipation thereof, enclosed herewith is our check in the amount of Fifty Dollars
($50.00) to cover the stated fees.
Please so signify your approval by signing below and returning one (1) copy of this letter to the
undersigned. Should you have any questions or need additional information, please contact the

Please find enclosed a consent to assign letter for the last 2 leases we have remaining with the county. I
have copied Curt Simmons with Ironhorse Resources our land brokers in Colorado as we plan on having
somebody in the Greeley area this week and they can drop off a check for $50.00 to help expedite our
consent process. Again thank you for all your help.
